              Coenzyme Q10 Water Soluble

              The chemical name of coenzyme Q10 is 2-(3,7,11,15,19,23,27,31,35,39-decamethyl- 2,6,10, 14,18,22,26,30,34,38-tetracontadecaen-1-yl)-3-methyl-5,6-dimethoxy-1,4-benzoquinone.

              Coenzyme Q10 is a kind of ubiquinone, appears as odorless, orange-yellow crystals or powders. The melting point is 49°C . Coenzyme Q10 is readily soluble in chloroform, benzene and carbon tetrachloride, soluble in ether, petroleum ether and acetone, slightly soluble in ethanol and insoluble in water and methanol. It is stability under moisture and raised temperature but easily decompose under light.

              Because of the physical properties of coenzyme Q10 insoluble in water, it is broardly used in cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries but nearly unaplicable in the field of food and drink.

              Water soluble coenzyme Q10 is prepared by encapsulating coenzyme Q10 into soluble starch or γ-cyclodextrin and stablized by anti-oxidant such as vitamine E and triglyceride. The content of coenzyme Q10 in Water soluble coenzyme Q10 product is 10% or 20%. The positive composition of water soluble coenzyme Q10 is also coenzyme Q10, and the physical and structural properties are the same with coenzyme Q10.

              Water soluble coenzyme Q10 is flowable, water-soluble powder. Because it is easily soluble in water, it can be better absorbed and applicated by human body, and thus it is far more biotic effective than coenzyme Q10. In the application aspect, water soluble coenzyme Q10 can be used in preparation of food, drink, tablets and capsules.
